The kitchen has everything you need for you to make morning coffees and prepare evening feasts. The open-plan design, with its exposed stone walls and characterful beams, has a delightful ambience; after supper, sprawl on the sofa, beside the cracking log burner and unwind in complete comfort. If you are a couple who cannot agree on what to watch- do not fear- we have TVs in both the sitting room and bedroom, so no more fighting over the remote! Wherever you are planning long walks through the surrounding area or simply a peaceful hideaway, Bluebell is the perfect base for your Dorset escape.
A little more about Buckham Mills in its entirety…
Buckham Mills is a converted dairy barn that now houses our four holiday homes. Find us just off Chedington Lane, where you will enter the grounds via a long gravel driveway. Each home overlooks the Axe River as it flows through our field, with beautiful views of the rolling Dorset hills. All guests have access to our 2.5-acre paddock, perfect for children to run wild and play ball games, or if you are staying in one of our dog-friendly properties, let your four-legged friends explore. We also have a shared seating area and a BBQ – ideal for warm summer evenings. Each property comes with one parking space in the car park in front of the cottages. Extra parking spaces can be arranged if required – please notify us before your arrival.
